Cute, but weak construction

"I had this dress on no longer than 5 minutes when one of the straps popped. The hardware works fine, the sewing was poorly done and came loose. I have to resew it myself, which isn't in itself a big deal, but is frustrating because I paid $118 for this dress, and I expect better quality. I have noticed this about many of the Free People clothing items I've purchased, and I think for a company that charges so much money for a product, they should ensure the product is actually WORTH it. It's a very cute dress, and I have no problems with it other than the fact that the sewing job is less than adequate.
It fits nicely, and is flattering on my body. I'm a 36D and it fits me well and accentuates my curves. If you're a very busty woman, this dress may not be supportive enough. A strapless bra could help though.
Overall it's really a sweet dress and fits true to size, but I'm rating it lower because of the immediate issue I had with it. Come on, Free People, you can do better."

"The coloring of the dress was okay.. but the strips are definitely more profound and the dress itself ran a tad big. I have a small chest, and it didn't help me in the case either. I purchased the XS for reference, and I am 5'6, 115. If you have a larger chest and some curves, go for it ladies!"
