Not so great tank

"Really loved the colors of this tank top and the lovely bead work around the neck. However, this tank was so short that it was like a cropped top or belly shirt on me. I'm 5'8" with a slim athletic build but just did not feel comfortable wearing a top that when I raised my arms, my stomach would show. The dip dye style is beautiful and nicely done. I ordered the pink, which was mostly white at the very top and faded to a bright pink at the bottom. I would have kept this tank if it were longer by about 6 inches as it only came to the top of my waistband of my pants. The beading made this sort of dressy, while the cotton kept it kind of casual - a great blend in a summer tank. Too bad it didn't work out for me, but if you are shorter, this would be a great staple to have in your summer wardrobe."

"I purchased this at the store. It looks just like it does on the model - if you size down. As you can see on the model, it's on the shorter side. I tend to like longer shirts but that just may be my personal preference. If you like the way it looks on the model, get it at the sale price. (Wish I had)"

"I am a 36D, and let me tell you, nothing I could do with this top was working for me. The sleeves revealed my bra, so I would need another tank or a tube top underneath. The problem with that is that with the cut of this top, another top wouldn't look right underneath. Also didn't like that my bust looked 10 times the normal size because of the cut. Also for the cut of it, it is a bit too loose! Too bad because the neckline and colors are fabulous!"

"I saw this in the fp store, and I fell in love with it. I tried it on, and my normal small size was too big. Other than the sizing, I love it. The neckline is gorgeous, and it is my new favorite spring tank. I would definitely order 1 or maybe 2 sizes down."

"I love free people but refrain from ordering online because sizing can be tricky with this brand. I tried this on at a local boutique and fell in love with the hot pink color. Wow, such a stunner especially with the beaded neckline. I refused to pay full price and ordered this immediately when i saw it go on sale. Now to the fit.... I am 5"3 150 lbs, narrow shoulders/small bust and a curvier bottom half. The armholes scoop low and reveal the sides of my bra, but i don't mind it. Neck is high because of the collar but does not choke me or feel like I need to pull at it. For the sizing....I'm a true medium in tops and got this in an EXTRA SMALL. You need to size down in this top! It's still a little roomy for me. My bust measurement are 34B so if you have a large bust i dont see this top working for you. Again, this top is gorgeous if you find the right size but i would definitely recommend sizing down 1 if not 2 sizes....."

"Both my friend and I tried on this top in both the S and M and it was unflattering no matter what we did. I'm 6' with a 32DD bust and 25" waist, and she is a bit shorter with a smaller bust and less curvy figure. We both found it to be kind of awkwardly snug in the bust (especially in the S, for me) and in the M it tented off my chest in a really unflattering way. The silhouette made us both look broad-shouldered, and we aren't. Maybe this would work for someone truly petite with a small bust? The fabric of the shirt felt like a mediocre cotton t-shirt that you've put through the wash too many times and wasn't very nice to wear. Maybe due to the dying process? On the plus side, the color of the pink is very pretty and vibrant, and the beading is absolutely adorable and seems very well done."
