"I agree with other reviewers that this top runs large. But I bought it in the ballet pink (taupe trim) and wear it layered with a taupe tee under and it looks super cute. I am 5'3" and purchased the x-small. The front of the shirt hits at my belly button. The back goes to just above the hip. This top is meant to be flowy, so the xtra room was no surprise. I love that the bottom ruffle in back is made from a non knit fabric. It gives a nice shape to the back and doesn't roll . Loves it!"

"The pictures of the black shirt show way too many ruffles in the front and back. If you want to see a better representation of the shirt, look at the other colors. It is a cute shirt anyway, though I am a bit disappointed. I am an XS, and the shirt feels like an M. I may return it."

"This top is very cute. It fits me real well and I am a very petite girl. It is although not short in the front as shown in the picture. Its worn on me as a normal top that lies above my waist. I love it!! I recommend this top. I bought the one in black and I don't regret purchasing. It's also an awesome price =)"

"I love Free People; all of my tops, skirts, and jackets are F.P. items. The clothes are super cute and most of the time they fit me since I'm short and have a small frame however this F.P. scoop neck ruffle tee doesn't fit me at all. The top feels and looks like it's two sizes big when it's marked as a xsmall, in the F.P. online photos the bottom hem in the front falls right at the mid section on the model but on me it goes down to my waist close to my hips. I thought at first maybe it was miss labeled but the measurements are smaller than what's labled for a medium in the item description. The F.P. Customer Service was very nice and helped to make sure I didn't get the wrong size. I'll return this top to a near by Free People store to exchange it for something more form fitting instead of buying Free People clothes online. boo hoo The Free People website has great deals you just can't beat in the stores although it's a shame to find out the fit is all wrong after it gets to your mail box. This is truly a beautiful top I just wish it could be a lot smaller."
