Not quite what I was expecting

"Got the tank today, and while I guess it's okay as a basic tank, I was expecting a slightly thinner, softer fabric with maybe a slightly less matte sort of finish. Also I feel like the pictures make out that there will be some little acid wash-like parts to make it a little more special but what I've received just seems like a plain cotton tank.
A little disappointed, especially for something that was almost £30, but don't really feel like going through the hassle of returning :/"

"I got this in the Army color and it is an adorable tanktop. I normally don't wear tanks alone but this I can just throw on with some jeans and boots and I look like I put together a whole outfit. You just have to be careful, this top snags easily. It has a small hole from the first day I wore it :( Other than that, it is a lovely, lovely tanktop. I got a small and I am 5'8 115 lbs."

"I have had my shirt for about two weeks and yet to wear..very nice material, soft, feels nice against your skin, I went with a medium. I am 5'5 115 pounds. The tee drops right below my butt and above my belly in front. The only think I hesitate about is it hangs from my 36C breast straight down and I feel it makes me look pregnant ! That, I am not ! I have a flat tummy so this bugs me ! But,I do like the t-shirt with some of my shorts and tights, I guess I am very very,picky~ but, aren't we all !!"

"I really liked the top on the model. However, it doesn't look very flattering on me. I bought it in the ivory color and it's quite see-through. The quality of the material could certainly be better. Might still wear it at home or so :("

"I saw this online first and tried it on at a local store. I was thinking about the army color but when I saw them I immediately decided to go with the royal purple.The color is fun and young, Simply gorgeous! My usual size M is very true to size and its silhouette is very flattering!"

I got this Irma tank in a size large and in the color royal purple. I like how this top has a peplum and highlow shape to it. I would totally recommend getting this top."

"This tank is so cute! Its lightweight but doesn't require a layering piece underneath. I ordered the army in a small but had to return it for a medium. I am a 34d and the chest was a little too tight for my liking. The color is true to the pic, I also ordered this tank in sunset red. This tank is a no brainer so if your thinking about buying it just buy it!"

"this is a cute little burnout tank. i got the army color, and every top is slightly different in color because of the burnout effect. this fits true to size, but i opted to go up a size for more length in front. it's very light and sheer. a very good top on its own and for layering, at a price that can't be beat."

"I happened to come across this top while looking around my local Free People store today. The color selection drew me over. I couldn't believe how soft it was so I had to try it on. When I did, I loved how this top hung kind of loose but fitted at the same time. It is so comfortable. Its perfect to wear layered under a jacket or over a cute bra. You can dress it up or down. I think I would like to go back for more colors."

"I'm 5'6", 125lbs, 34b and I got a small (my usual size). Glad I didn't size down for this one since it probably would have been way to short in the front. I purchased the gray and plum and am very tempted to get the ivory. It's a soft, comfortable tank with style. I will be wearing these a lot :) Sure beats a plain old racer back!"

"Love this little top! Got it in the army color, XS and Its a perfect fit..i am 5'4'' 100 lbs 32B. Love the burnout effect, it looks just like the images, almost ombre by the straps. Looks so cute worn with the striped millie tank underneath, check out the FP style pictures below to see.The only drawback is the polyester content. in combo with dry winter air ....very sparkly...

"Bought this in XS ivory and its pretty much what I expected. I sort of wish the bottom was an even hem but its shorter in front and then gets longer on the hips and is even longer in the back. I washed it and it didn't shrink much. I wear it under sweaters to give that cute feminine touch. I'm 5'1 110LBs and the extra small was perfect. Just wish the hem was even is all. Still cute though."

"I absolutely love this tank, which is surprising because I usually don't like my tanks to be loose fitting. However, this one is the exception. I love how it's tighter around the top before it starts getting flowy. the higher bottom in the front is really flattering and is great for showing off a cute pair of shorts. It also looks great under jackets. I am a size XS in everything from FP, and this is no exception. Fits great and I love it."

"just picked up two these (how could i not at this price point) & they are delightful ... got the sea blue which is more dreamy in person & a color (plum) i do not see on the website ... i am generally a small & both fit exactly the same & run tts ... soft & free flowing ... like that they are a little longer in the back & have a sort of charming "rattiness" that by no means look cheap ... if you see me living in a box under a bridge it is because i sold my house to finance my FP shopping ... it's all good ..."

"I recently purchased the Irma tank in blue, a size xs, and I am in love! Usually, I wear a size xs: I am 5'4, 107 lbs, slender.
The fabric is so pretty: it has a burn out appearance around the top and bottom, and the color is very true to the photo, unlike some of the blue colors I have purchased in the past.
It has a high-low hem, which is very adorable, but goes up slightly in the front, more than I am used to.
I would recommend buying a size slightly larger than normal, if you want to wear it in a more flowy fashion.
It can be worn with a cute lace bra (I recommend the lace racer back bra from Free People), or with a bandeau.

"I bought this in ivory in my regular small. I'm a 34DD and can most of they time get away with a small. I have a problem with the bust being too tight and the waist etc being too big. With this tank, the bust is tighter than the pics show but does fit well throughout the rest of the tank. I think I could still wear a medium and have it not be way too big everywhere but I'm just going to keep the small. The way the fabric is, it hangs really well on the body. With a larger chest, I sometimes have a problem with these styles making me look pregnant because it drops from the bust. This one hangs great and clings more to the body to avoid that babydoll look."
