"I've been eyeing this dress for a while and when I saw it on sale I had to get it. The colors are beautiful and the embellishments make the dress. I was a little hesitant when I read all the reviews but I still got it, AND I'M SO GLAD I DID"

Worst Free People Dress Ever

"I agree with the other reviewer. This dress is clearly high quality as far as stitching/beading goes, but it's got to be one of the most poorly designed pieces ever sold by FP. The cut is literally not flattering on anyone. I'm 5'2", 92 lbs, and a 32 C and I ordered an XS but this hangs off of me like a sack. So then my roommate, who's 5'9", 120 lbs, and a 34 B, tried it on and she had the same problem. Whoever designed this has no idea how to dress women. The seams on the front go straight down the middle to create a very unflattering shape and the weight of the (admittedly gorgeous) beaded collar makes the cut out in the back gape weirdly. Also the color shown in the photos in the catalogue/on the site are not true to life at all. It's really more of a muddy brown overlaid with a strange, dark, blue/green color. Save your money and buy something else. Actually - buy anything else. This really is the most hideous dress I've ever gotten here."

"I was so excited about this dress but I just received it in the mail and was not so thrilled. It is a fairly good quality dress and the embroidery at the neckline is really beautiful but the color of the dress is not at all as pictured. I ordered it in henna and it is a bluish color with burnt orange underlay that is rather ugly and drab...unlike the rich green/sage color in the picture. In addition it is (although a nice length) loose on my waist and chest. I ordered a M and am a 32D, 140lbs, 5'9". I suggest ordering a size down."
