cool shoes, but ouch!

"I usually wear a size 5.5 in Faryl Robin shoes, but I took a chance on the 6 in these. They fit, but the back of the heel is a terrible design for someone with small feet. These shoes have a very high heel (about 4.5") and no platform, so if you have small feet the pitch of your foot in the shoe is very steep. If you look at the photo of the shoe form the side, the back of heel is very high and points inward. It seems to work on the model, but on me it stabbed the back of my ankle in a very painful way. I didn't even try to walk in these - right back they went. Too bad, because they are so cute! The straps are adjustable, so you can get the perfect fit for your foot. I found these to run a bit smaller than my other Faryl Robins, but pretty much true to size. I got the beige color, which is true to the photo and a great choice for spring. If you have larger feet, you probably won't have the problem I did. But if your feet are small, look out - these are really ouchy."
