"So I took the skirt out of the bag and the entire skirt is separating from the waistband!!! Quality control issues. This is the second item in back to back shipments that has come in damaged! The material is laughably thin, think cheese cloth. It's totally see through. Unhappy. Tired of having to return FP items because they arrived damaged. (Tired of feeling like a bad person because I return items to my local FP store so frequently for items being damaged or not at all as pictured!!!)"

"I am in love with this skirt! I would say it best fits people who wear a xs-m size. It is a bright purple but has a slightly sun sea washed look to it (a nice touch coming from a line called Jen's Pirate Booty). The skirt is a nice thick gauze which feels like it is made to last. It's so nice to find a skirt made of 100% cotton. I don't think this skirt is over priced at all. Especially since the price of cotton has gone up and all stores seem to carry these days are cheap synthetic clothes."

Elastic waist is a nightmare

"I was so excited about this skirt! It's gorgeous. But one size fits all? Right. I normally wear a M-L at FP. I'm a curvy girl, but I don't have a particularly HUGE waist (29 inches). I figured I was safe with a one size fits all skirt, since it has an elastic waist. Not so much. The elastic on this skirt was a NIGHTMARE.. It was wide, unforgiving, and stiff. It squeezed my waist so hard it was painful. For 228 bucks, I'd expect a little more quality—the skirt material itself was pretty flimsy, as well.
This may work well for tall girls with small waists...and that's about it."

"I wanted to love this skirt and was excited about wearing it on a trip to new orleans.. it was too roomy at 5'4 and there would be no way to alter it with the lace cut-outs.
It also looked slightly worn and faded . Very baggy on me and looked like something I could purchase from a "hippy" store for a lot cheaper. I really really wanted this to work but for the price and the quality it wasn't going to happen."
